Thinking of the perfect gift for the adventurer in your life might be a hard thing to do, especially if you aren’t super adventurous yourself! In this blog post, I break down the best gifts from cheap to expensive. These are all adventure products, gear, and more that we love! Each product will be linked to its name, making it super easy to click and add to your cart. *As a disclaimer, these links are affiliate links, so we do receive a small kickback from you purchasing off our link. This is at no extra cost to you and helps us, as creatives, deliver more products to you!

Owala Water bottle – $35
Seriously, you cannot go wrong with a steel-insulated water bottle, but this one is my favorite. It’s sturdy, large enough in oz size, and the lid keeps the mouthpiece germ-free. I’m not a fan of open-mouthed water bottles, so this one makes me happy! Yeti water bottles are my second-favorite choice, and they come in a variety of colors, just like this one!

Blundstone #585 – $210
Though pricy, these are my absolute most-worn shoes/boots ever. I wear them in the summer with shorts, in the fall with a cozy sweater, or in the winter when there is snow on the ground! I swap out the thin insoles they come with for my favorite insoles, and I can wear them 24/7 with just about any outfit! They are perfect for a night on the town, a date in a dress, or a short hike through the mountains or desert. They are a shoe you will not regret buying.

Superfeet Insoles – $60
A few years ago, I broke my back, and ever since, finding comfortable shoes to wear has been a challenge. These insoles solve that problem, though! By slipping one of them into my shoes, I can now wear just about any pair. The hike and the casual insoles are my favorites, and I wear them in my Blundstones and my hiking boots!

America The Beautiful Pass – $80
This is a great gift for the adventurer in your life. For one fee, with this pass you can visit any National Park for 1 year without paying the entrance fee! This is amazing for someone planning to visit multiple parks in one year, saving them the trouble of paying for each park each time they visit.

SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB SD Card – $20-$60
These SD Cards are the only ones I use. They write and transfer fast, and I’ve never had one corrupt on me. A large-sized gigabyte SD Card is perfect for a long trip! There are other options like 32 and 64, but I prefer a 64 or 128.

Peak Design Capture Clip – $80
This little piece of equipment is one of our most used! We actually use it SO much we’ve bought three over the past ten years. (Three becuase we each needed one, and I accidently lost it on a hiking trip so we had to immediately replace it when I came home!) It makes wearing your camera and pulling it out for pictures so much easier than stuffing it into and pulling it out of a backpack each time you go to use it.

Peak Design Travel Tripod – $400
If you are traveling or hiking a lot and like to bring a tripod with you, this carbon fiber tripod is the way to go! Expensive, but lightweight, and the perfect companion for hiking.

Camera Backpack – $30-$400
There are a TON of camera backpacks out there you can find, and some amazing ones super cheap on Amazon! I’m including images of my favorite ones, and listing them here as well.
Helix Maglock ND & Polarizing Filters – $230
A good ND filter and polarizer never leave your camera. These filters by Chris Burkard on the Helix Maglock system will never leave your camera! They are top of the line, amazing quality and increase the “wow” factor of your images before you even pop them into Lightroom. This makes the perfect gift for the traveler in your life!

Metal Cell Phone Camera mount – $15
This nifty little gadget is perfect for the photographer that wants to record, take pictures or do BTS of whatever they are photographing. This allows you to mount your cell phone on the top of your camera for some extra footage!

Mini Tripod – $20
This mini tripod by Ulanzi was my favorite purchase last year! It is a flexible tripod, meaning I could wrap the legs around logs, branches, railings, you name it, and keep my camera steady. It became super helpful when I had to bend one of the legs around a rock to steady it to take some pictures, but it also works as a nifty little vloging tripod! It’s easy to hold and collapse, it stores in your backpack or bag well and it isn’t too heavy.

Point and Shoot Camera – $1000
If you are looking for something small, pocket sized, but still usable, look no farther! These three are my favorite point and shoot pocket cameras, perfect for tossing in a jacket pocket, or just throwing around your neck as an extra camera.

3-Litre Hiking Bladder – $54
You can never go wrong with gifting someone a bladder, and this one by Osprey is so easy to clean and use! I bought one before a big hiking trip this August to upgrade the bladder I already had, and could not believe how easy to dry this bladder was! I highly recommend it!

REI Trail 25 Pack – $99
At 25 Litres you can’t go wrong with this backpack. Big enough to stash what you need, but small enough to not be extra weight on your back, you will love this packpack! It has space for a bladder, loops for trekking pole attachments and an attachable hip belt to help disperse the weight of your pack.

Peak Design Camera Cubes – $30-$100
If you don’t have a designaed camera bag, don’t want one, or don’t want to spend the money on one, camera cubes are a great option. You can find some cheaper ones on Amazon, but I love these cubes by Peak Design. They are cushioned, water resistant, and offer so many storage options!

Matador Camera Base Layer – $80
This is the perfect gift for the camera lover and hiker! This base layer allows you to keep your camera protected while also having it accessable on the front of your backpack! I know this is the next item on my list I am buying!

Go Pro Hero 13 – $425
Everyone loves a go pro, and this one is the newest one on the market. We have the go pro 10 and love using it for vlogging, underwater shots and snow sports. The nicest thing about the newest go pros is that they have screens on the front so you can see yourself!

Go Pro 3-Way Mount – $70
This is a nifty little tool to help you use your go pro! It can be used as a tool for vlogging or as a tripod itself for your go pro!

Go Pro Floating Hand Grip – $16
This little hand grip is essential for your go pro when you are swimming, or near water in general. The wrist strap keeps it secure, but the grip is actually a flotation device so it keeps your go pro from sinking into the water if you drop it!

Adventure Medical First Aid Kit – $40
A true good adventure medical first aid kit is so important for the adventurer in your life! Good first aid kids should cover the basics plus. And the one I’ve linked is for 2 people and can last you 4 days in the wilderness.

SmartWool Hiking Socks – $23
A good paif of hiking socks can last you a week without washing or causing you blisters. And these SmartWool Hiking socks are the ones I cannot recommend enough. Any wool sock is great for hiking and wicking away moisture, but SmartWool socks are next level. They’re made with top quality wool, cushioned for support and last so long.

Black Diamond Headlamp – $65
There obviously are much cheaper headlamps out there (I just bought Grant a $15 Mossy Oak one) but Black Diamond is known for having top of the line gear that just works. High quality and long lasting, this headlamp is a great choice.

YETI Tundra 40 Cooler – $350
We love our Yeti coolers! They hold ice for so long, seal super well, and keep our food cold. This winter our fridge actually gave out and we stored everything in our fridge in our yeti coolers on our deck for two weeks until we could get our fridge looked at, and they kept everything cold! So cold in fact, they still had ice in them when we brought everything back inside.

Aeropress Coffee Maker – $35
I am not a coffee drinker, but Grant is and he loves his coffee maker! Super easy to use, and it makes for seamless brewed coffee while hiking and camping.

Jet Boil – $107
This is the perfect little companion for camping and outdoor cooking. It’s just the right size for heating up water, making food, or drinks without starting a campfire.

Rumpl Blanket – $100
This is probably my favorite item on this list, and think this would make the best gift! These blankets are the absolute bomb, and we love them so much we have three! They feel like a sleeping bag, and keep you warm like one too! They pack down small and light though, and can double as a pillow while traveling too!

Microfiber Quick Dry Towel – $15

These are so essential when camping and hiking! They fold down small, dry you fast, and dry out super quick.
PacSafe Hip pack – $65
A great option for keeping your valuables safe while traveling! Everyone needs something small and easy to use and I love using this pacsafe hip pack!

International Travel plug & Converter – $56
This is essential for anyone wanting to travel overseas. The watages are different, so it’s so nice to have your own way to chage things while traveling!

Lugage Scale – $8
For the international traveler in your life, this is so useful and important! They will love getting this!

National Park Passport Book – $15
Not only does this gift make a cool momento, but it also creates so much fun for traveling to National Parks! This little book lets you collect stickers and stamps from the parks. It gives you a tangible place to put memories. Grant and I LOVE using our National Park Passport Book, and know you will too!
